en-Gulai Sapi
Gulai-sapi is an Indonesian speciality from the island of Sumatra, an exotic beef stew with spices.
The ingredients of Gulai-sapi are: beef, lemongrass, galangal root, turmeric, coriander, lemon leaf, bay leaf, salt, pepper, fresh chilli, red pepper, red pepper, ginger, garlic, red onion, coconut milk, sesame oil, pineapple juice.
Preparation:
Fry the red onion in sesame oil, add the beef and then the spices. Cook the resulting gravy for an hour and a half, adding the coconut milk 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
The rice is prepared with butter and coconut milk. To serve, sprinkle fried onions on top.
